「山上寶訓：論施捨」

你們要小心，不可將善事行在人的面前，故意叫他們看見，若是這樣，就不能得你們天父的賞賜了。 所以，你施捨的時候，不可在你前面吹號，像那假冒為善的人在會堂裏和街道上所行的，故意要得人的榮耀。我實在告訴你們，他們已經得了他們的賞賜。 你施捨的時候，不要叫左手知道右手所做的， 要叫你施捨的事行在暗中。你父在暗中察看，必然報答你 。

‭‭（馬太福音‬ ‭6:1-4‬ ）

Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

親愛的天父，祢喜愛憐恤，不喜愛祭祀，遍地都滿了耶和華的慈愛！求天父教導我們真心行善的獎賞來自天父，而我們施贈的目的是救助貧苦和幫助有需要的人！但願我們不要徒具外表的好行為，而沒有良好動機和真正憐憫人的心；教我們避免為得好處而去行善，而是因愛神愛人而樂於施捨，使人得幫助，讓神得榮耀，而不是滿足和炫耀自己！奉主耶穌基督聖名祈禱，阿們！
